The car was taken for a testdrive, checked on a lift, - and then bought and delivered.

Cleaning out the interior and dismantling the doors

Carpets, mats, seats, seatbelts, door and side panels were removed.
Doors were dismantled and prepared for sandblasting.

The crankcase has a slight leak, and the gearbox leaks from the oilseal of the shiftrod.

Off to Lava-Blasting

Cleaning with lava can be compared to a sand blast item. Instead of using sand, a special blend of lava is used. Lava can remove almost everything by using hard and soft powder, without damaging the surface.

Starting parts cleaning and renovation

The oily parts are cleaned with CBC 500 - Uni Clean. This is a cleanser that utilizes the benefits of a natural product. The water-based cleanser, which has a pleasant scent, is based on renewable raw materials derived from a recycled coconut by-product. These natural ingredients impart to its cleansing liquid its excellent dissolving power. The surface is not damaged and the original appearance is restored.

Reinforcements for welding in new parts.

A reinforcement was welded in the windowframe prior to removing the coroded parcelshelf.

Undercarriage renovation

New bearing bracket welded in, and we will completely rebuild the front control arm assembly Installing new hard bushings.

Seat bottoms

The coroded seat bottoms are removed and new rear seat pans fitted.

Allthe parts fron the undercarriage cleaned and painted.

Final fillings

Body fillers are generally a polyester resin based filler with a cream hardener that can be used to even out dents and cover blemishes on vehicles. We used top-quality resin that has the highest stain-resistance and is the easiest to sand down and offer the best adhesion of filler materials to underlying surfaces.

Off to the Painter

The car is transported to mp-autolakering in Kvistgaard, near Elsinore.
The chassis, fenders and doors etc. will be primed and sealed. The undercarriage will be coated with a gravel and stone guard prior to painting in the final color.
